Arrived on the island late Friday night, bit late for the Pacha list and Pete Tong so just popped into town with my mate Steven for a few drinks at the Base Bar. Had a swift one with Jason. Thought about things further and came to conclusion that an early night was the right thing to do.

Saturday, up and about early, thought I’d take Steven down to the beach at Playa d'en Bossa, its busy and loads of guys and gals are taking it easy before the Kandi party later. Got talking to some lovely ladies from Surrey looking forward to a big night at Divino’s

We received worrying news about Ibiza airport having to close due to a suspect package, which was a problem because Tom De Neef who was to be playing with me hadn’t arrived on the island yet. Bit of a worry, although after a couple of hours, relief, Tom is on his way.

After the beach it’s back to our Kandi base to chillout before the pre party at Savannah.

So, it’s pre party time. Down to Savannah in time for the sunset, if you’ve never seen a sunset over there you haven’t lived. Tonight it’s a great one! The number of color changes in the sky, magical.
Time to get on those decks; I take over from resident dj Steve Divine, lovely to see the Kandi girls out and looking stunning. The girls are busy giving away Kandi Summer sampler cd’s to the loads of punters hanging out down here.

The vibe is just right although it’s soon time to leave and head on to the club.

On to the party, El Divino is lit up with a mix of grand colored lights. At the entrance a wall of sparkling and dazzling disco balls greet you as you walk in, it’s party time!

Ferry and Franco are our two warm-up djs for the summer and they have done a superb job getting the crowd ready for a special night.
So, it’s time to take over, I’m first up spinning a selection of big Kandi tunes old and new, there’s a great atmosphere, the lights, sound and outstanding décor bring the evening to sizzling peak. The buzz continues as Mr De Neef takes the baton to do his thing on the decks. Smiling faces, people singing, hands clapping, yeah, this is the Kandi vibe.

Before I knew it 6.55am had arrived, time for the last track of a very special night. El Divino is filled to the rafters, they want more but there’s only time for one more. It’s been a crackin night, the sun’s rising and I’m already looking forward to returning to the white isle later in August to do it all over again!
