El Divino Ibiza

Its early friday morning and ive just arrived in Ibiza, and it feels just right, ive come home!. after 2 years as resident for Hed kandi out here on the white isle Ibiza has a place in my heart and i am just itching to get on the decks at el divino on staurday night!. Arrived a bit late for pacha, but no chance of sleep down to base bar to catch up with some old freinds for some drinks. After 1 or 2 vodka's we decided its best to head back for a sleep.

Friday

With it being radio 1 weekend its a hectic scedule with so many people to see in just 48 hours!!! the apartment is full of everyone from the office in good spirits for the weekend so its certainly a good time to be here. We decided that its time for the beach, so we headed down to cala jondal to catch some rays and a few drinks at the blue marlin its such a beautiful place to be and a relaxed vibe was certainly in order before the madness of tomorrow! With it being radio 1 weekend we decided to head down to mambo's to check out the mood for the weekend and meet some freinds for a few drinks. It was so good to be back to see old freinds and mambo's was packed with Pete Tong doing the essential mix live from mambo's so the vibe was certainly up for it!. After a few drinks with the guys from defected and xavier at mambo's we decided to head back to Evissa and head onto moneypenny's! Walking up to el divino even when its not the hed kandi night the feeling is always special, so after a few drinks with lee and mr shaft ryan it was certainly time for a rest!

saturday

The day of the party is here and i wake up to greet my partner from last summer, the lovely miss kelly marie!!! it was great to be back together to play the whole night together so i knew it was going to rocking all night! I spent some time checking out the club in the day time, as last year i was assising with getting the club ready. Production as always looked amazing and the mood was set for a hell of a night. Before i knew it was time to get down to savannas for some food with roy and juilet, our on island promotors and check oy the kandi girls looking faboulous as ever. Before playing i took a sneaky walk down to mambo to check out radio's ones party which was excuse the pun ' going right off'!!!! the front was packed so taking over from steve divine at savannas was a real treat. Before getting carried way with the music it was onto the club for the party to commence....Aririved at the club with the huge cue and when i got inside the production, the crowd the music was perfect. A real treat was in store as house legend Jay J was doing the warm up for us and it was just right. Me and miss kelly deicded to play together all night, and we spun classic, kandi, through to disco, twisted, and with hands in the air, singing, clapping, before i knew it, it was almost 7 am! the club was still packed and with the sun rising on the terracre it was time for one more to bring an end to a truly magical weekend.
