Q1. You're headlining Hed Kandi at El Divino this weekend, how excited are you?
PF: I’m almost wetting myself with excitement! Sleeping the night before is always difficult. It's a bit like Christmas Eve when you're a kid.
CH: I cannot even describe the feeling! I am really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really looking forward to it! I feel like a little child in a candy shop!
Q2. Have you played there before? If so, what's your favourite memory?
PF: Loads of times. I’ve been in and out of El Divino since about 1996. It hasn't changed much! :) The first time I went was to play at Cream with Tong. It was a three day trip - I stayed for six weeks. That whole trip is probably my fondest Ibiza memory. Not much of it is printable though I’m afraid.
CH: I’ve not played there, this is my Hed Kandi Ibiza debut, however I was over there around 8 times last year (lucky eh?) and I cannot just give you one favourite memory, the whole experience was unreal, the vibe, the atmosphere, the music and the clubbers.
Q3. How would you describe Hed Kandi's Ibizan residency to those that have never been? What can people expect?
PF: This is the best Hed Kandi gig in the world: the best production, the best dancers, the most beautiful people and the most magical atmosphere. End of.
CH: I may sound biased but I’ve been going to Ibiza for a good 6 years now and in my own personal experience, even before I was involved with the brand, Hed Kandi at El Divino is “the event” that you have to be at on a Saturday night in Ibiza! Expect great music, live percussion and a dancefloor full of true Kandi fans. It’s generally a road block so get there early!
Q4. For many, Ibiza is a very magical place, what makes it special for you?
PF: I’m not a tree hugger but there's definitely something in the theory that the island is located on magnetic lay lines that give it a special energy. I travel a lot but it’s only Ibiza that makes you totally forget everything else and indulge yourself 100%.
CH: Being in one place surrounded by likeminded people who are there for the same reason as you, to dance their socks off!
Q5. What's your top tip for people making the trip to the White Isle?
PF: Check out Sa Cappela. An ancient chapel converted into a restaurant near San Antonio.
CH: See as much of it as you can. Some people can get caught up in staying in just one area, believe me I did it! The island is small and there are plenty of taxi’s and buses so make sure you jump in one and check out the place.
Q6. Finally, if you could FlyKandi to any destination, where would you go?
PF: The Galapagos Islands. It has a reserved number of visitors every year and the wildlife is tame as it hasn't learnt the evil ways of man. I'd play an old skool New York Garage set for the turtles.
CH: Where do you think! Eivissa is always at the top of my list, however if you could fly to the moon...!
